Kindred's Community Dinner - Kindred

Kindred’s Community Dinner

One Monday a month, we cook one big dinner, and everyone is invited. For free.

So, how does it work?

We’ll be hosting 100 strangers on two long tables, playing some ice-breaker games to help people get to know each other, and serving a delicious, shared feast. Guests are encouraged to attend solo, to serve one another before they serve themselves, put their phones away, and concentrate on being in the moment.

Join us in April, please note that entry is by ballot, and only 1 ticket can be requested per person. The ballot closes at 9am on Friday May 30th, entering the ballot does not guarantee you a place. Successful entrants will be notified by 5pm on the same day.

There will also be an option donate to our partner charity, the Nourish Hub on the night if you choose to do so, but there’s no obligation.

About Nourish Hub: @thenourishhub

As part of the London Good Growth Fund, the Nourish Hub is focused on making better places, empowering people and growing prosperity. Challenging and changing our relationship with food, through experience, education and building close links to the local community.

TogethernessFest at Kindred (June 9th – 14th)

London is lonely.

Rates of social isolation are higher than anywhere else in the UK with 35% of Londoners report feeling regularly lonely.

Kindred was created by former social worker Anna Anderson to provide an antidote. A former members club turned community space, we offer a friendly and inclusive space in Hammersmith where people can gather for events, coworking and exceptional food & drink. Since opening in 2018 we have built a strong community and brought thousands of Londoners together – in June we plan to take things to the next level…

Our third TogethernessFest marks Loneliness Awareness Week with a week-long celebration of IRL connection, featuring dinners, talks, walks and workshops with some of our favourite event partners.

About Kindred:

Kindred was founded by Anna Anderson, who spent her career in social work and is passionate about human connection. With a desire to create a space for the community to connect face-to-face, with no one feeling excluded.

Upstairs at Kindred are two floors used for cultural and private events, as well as weekday coworking. Cellar at Kindred, is an all-day dining spot with a seasonal menu sourced from quality producers.

At the heart of the concept, is ‘The Campfire’. A series of homegrown events designed as an antidote to loneliness and disconnection in London and to celebrate and support ideas that can change the world for the better. Money raised from private events and dining, directly fund ‘The Campfire’.
