Writers' Hour with London Writers' Salon - Kindred

Writers’ Hour with London Writers’ Salon

Make space in your calendar to write at this guided session led by London Writers’ Salon.

On Monday 9th, we’re welcoming back London Writers’ Salon to Kindred for an in-person Writers’ Hour. This Writers’ Hour is 2 x 50 minutes of focused, silent time to work on your own writing project. Don’t have a specific writing project? Simply bring a pen and notebook.

Each ticket includes a free hot drink and access to work from Kindred for the day.

What to Bring:

A current work in progress writing project to work on – on computer, in notebooks, etc. (or simply notebook and pen if you don’t have a writing project.)

Pen and paper/notebook

Headphones (optional, if you prefer listening to music while you write)

Please show up at least 5-10 minutes early so you have time to grab your seat and a coffee/tea. We’ll start promptly on the hour.

TogethernessFest at Kindred (June 9th – 14th)

London is lonely.

Rates of social isolation are higher than anywhere else in the UK with 35% of Londoners report feeling regularly lonely.

Kindred was created by former social worker Anna Anderson to provide an antidote. A former members club turned community space, we offer a friendly and inclusive space in Hammersmith where people can gather for events, coworking and exceptional food & drink. Since opening in 2018 we have built a strong community and brought thousands of Londoners together – in June we plan to take things to the next level…

Our third TogethernessFest marks Loneliness Awareness Week with a week-long celebration of IRL connection, featuring dinners, talks, walks and workshops with some of our favourite event partners.
