ID8: 8 Ideas for a Better Tomorrow

Do you have an idea you want to tell the world about? Or do you want to be in the room where the next big ideas are discovered?

When today’s dialogue is led by what’s going wrong with the world, we want to platform some of the things that are going right. Kindred’s signature ID8 event is back in June, platforming ideas from eight speakers who all believe in (and work for) a vision for a better tomorrow.

Founded by Anna Anderson, the founder of Kindred, and Chris Anderson, the head of TED, the concept of ID8 is simple. We gather to listen to eight speakers take eight minutes on stage to tell us about an idea that could change the world. Past ID8s have offered us a wide range of incredible ideas from leaders in business, health, art and design, science and tech, with previous speakers including the likes of Chris Sheldrick, the founder of what3words, author and philosopher Alain de Botton, and Rory Stewart.

The presentations will begin from 7pm but you are welcome to join us from 6pm to get settled with food and drink. Once the presentations have concluded you have the option to remain at Kindred to grab dinner, more drinks, and carry on those all important conversations.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Bradmore House for our next ID8.

Note: this event will be photographed, please let us know if you’d prefer not to be in the shots.

TogethernessFest at Kindred (June 10-14th)

London is lonely.

Rates of social isolation are higher than anywhere else in the UK and 700,000 Londoners feel lonely ‘always’ or ‘most of the time’ according to research.

Kindred was created by former social worker Anna Anderson to provide an antidote. An open house for West London, we offer a friendly and inclusive space in Hammersmith where people can gather for events, coworking and exceptional food & drink. Since opening in 2019 we have built a strong community and brought thousands of Londoners together – in June we plan to take things to the next level…

Our second TogethernessFest marks Loneliness Awareness Week with a week-long celebration of IRL connection, featuring club nights, brunches, talks and workshops with some of our favourite event partners.
