Join us for an inspiring night of poetry and spoken word

Whether you’re a new beginner, a seasoned pro, or just ready to witness fresh and talented performers, Kindred’s Words and Verses evening has something for every lover of poetry and spoken word.
Set in our beautiful Grade II listed building, this event is sure to be a stunning display of raw talent. Hosted by our Community Host Dora Flowers, the evening will be warm and welcoming — with Dora setting the tone and creating a safe space for everyone.

Please note, seating will be on a first come first serve basis so arrive early if you’d like to sit with a friend!
Remember, if you are a member, enjoy a complimentary ticket on us and email us if you’d like to be added to another table. (Please note that you’ll need to bring your member ID to verify your ticket at the door.)

During the event you can enjoy our ‘London Fusion’ menu, celebrating diverse flavours and ingredients that come from different communities across our city.
We believe in making food that tastes best when shared, crafted with the finesse and care of an accomplished chef. Our rotating menu is curated by our head chef, Romulo Silva.
Please be mindful of guests and refrain from making too much noise during performances. There will be small breaks inbetween, and we suggest arriving early if you would like to enjoy a delicious meal before the event takes place.
