West London Unplugged…
Join us every last Wednesday of the month for a stripped-back evening of acoustic music
Unwind to the old-world, melodic charm of acoustic music in Kindred’s gorgeous Georgian mansion. Featuring new artists every month, West London Unplugged showcases our city’s finest acoustic performers.
If you’re an acoustic performer and would like to share your talent from the Kindred stage, email our music manager Rachel Jones to introduce yourself: firstname.lastname@example.org.
This event is open both to members and non-members, but bookings are essential.
Some of the pre-registered talent on the night include the below:
Lilith Ai is a guitarist whose music tells tales of modern life, and has been described as “somewhere between indie pop and anti-folk”. Her soft, melodic vocals have a distinct, upbeat feel. Visit Lilith Ai’s Instagram
Aduke Okin is a Nigerian performer and songwriter whose work draws on Afrobeat, jazz, and soul. Her performances are joyful and heartfelt, and often feature a mixture of English, Yoruba, and Pidgin languages. Visit Aduke Okin’s Instagram
Mariska Martina is a singer-songwriter from Holland, born in 1993 to a Peruvian mother and Dutch father. Mariska Martina’s writing is inspired by Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux, and Melody Gardot; in some of her music, you clearly hear the inspiration she gets from her semi-Latin roots and classical music background.
You will be able to order food and drink to your table during the performance, from Kindred’s full bar and restaurant menu.
