The Andrew Mckay Quartet

Andrew Mckay

As a session musician, Andrew has collaborated with various bands of different genre and
worked for bands such as Beck, Prefab Sprout, Huey Lewis & the News to name a few. Andrew
has performed with his quartet at venues around the world including Soho Jazz Festival, Ealing
jazz festival, Edinburgh jazz festival, Singapore Jazz Festival, and Festival Jazz en Touraine à
Montlouis-sur-Loire. He was also invited to sit in with the Late great Don Cherry Quartet at the
Edinburgh jazz festival. Andrew performed in theatre shows such as Buddy the musical and
The Ray Charles Story and spent years touring Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, Australia,
Singapore, New Zealand as well as London’s West End.

 

Corina Kwami

American singer and dancer Corina Kwami, fronts Corina Kwami & the Swing
Selection. With Ghanaian and Irish roots, Corina has lived in 10 countries and worked
in over 20 including festivals in the US (DC Swing Festival), Germany (Berlin Solo Jazz
Festival), UK (Social Innovation Exchange and Jermyn Street Theatre-West End),
Singapore (UNLEASH) and Morocco (Oujda Jazz Festival 2017-2019) bringing a global,
renaissance, variety to her playing and storytelling. Corina Kwami in her fabulous
quartet blend cultures, much like jazz, have done for decades. Her repertoire includes
beautiful jazz standards from the 20s, 30s, 40s, originals, a splash of French, Spanish
and Portuguese and toe-tapping swing

 

Gary Willcox.

Since the Mid 90’s Gary has performed around the UK and Europe with Jim Mullen,
Stan Sulzmann, Ian Shaw, Chris Batchelor, Iain Ballamy, Polly Gibbons, to name a few.

Nick Lenner-Webster

 

Nick is a professional Double bass and Electric Bass player who studied at the Guildhall
School of Music and Drama. He has performed in a variety venues across the country
including  Ronnie Scotts, The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The Roundhouse
and Glastonbury festival .  Nick also played in an orchestra of 150 musicians for the world
premier of John Cage/Merce Cunningham’s Ballet ‘Ocean’. He recently recorded an album
entitled “Trio” featuring pianist Terence Collie and Saxophonist/clarinettist Matt Dibble.

 

Chris Jerome

Chris Jerome performed and recorded with a multitude of ground-breaking artists in the
realms of jazz, soul, r&b, world music, pop, as well as leading his own bands. He has
performed and toured all over the world, as well as featuring on many successful
recordings. He spent eight years as keyboard player with the celebrated saxophonist
Courtney Pine playing at some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls and
festivals. He has also performed/toured/recorded with Tom Jones, Rose Royce,
Womack and Womack, Sister Sledge, Maxi Jazz (Faithless), Imagination, Osibisa,
Jazz Jamaica, Hugh Masekela, Omar, Mica Paris.


 

Happy Hour: 2 cocktails for £12, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
