TED Circle: Sangu Delle
May 21 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
There’s no shame in taking care of your mental health.
Meaningful conversations create interpersonal connections that collectively strengthen communities, which couldn’t be more pertinent now. A TED Circle is where we gather together to watch and discuss a TED Talk, and discuss with a group of others. In short, it’s like a book club, but for TED Talks. Kindred hosted a few TED Circles last year, and we’re bringing them back to be entirely online.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re opening up more conversations about mental health and we’ve chosen this week’s TED Circle with this in mind.
This week we’ll be watching and discussing ‘There’s no shame in taking care of your mental health’ by Sangu Delle.
What past participants thought:
“Loved the TED connect session run by Kindred. As a group, we watched Kate Raworth’s TED video all about the circular economy. Kindred brought together a really lovely group of people, it was really professionally facilitated allowing stimulating, thoughtful and insightful conversation. (used 23 April)”
“It was such a brilliant way to bring people together, keep connected but also feel expressive and inspired. A simple concept, but thank you to Kindred for taking the initiative and despite other distractions still working so kindly and lovingly to bring people together! Most of us were erring towards optimism, so thanks for reminding us all that there is hope out there. (30 April)”
Looking forward to that next one and also learning more about the concept and practical applications of the circular economy.” – Emma Masding (Social Member)
