Kindred’s Storytelling Slam – CANCELLED
November 28 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
All great stories start from somewhere. Where does your greatest story start?
The theme is Courage, Love and Loss. A series of 5 minute long stories that you have written yourself, or stories that your life has written for you. Delicious food and drink will be available to purchase from 6pm to 9pm and you can browse our Winter Menu by clicking here
Join us for what will certainly be a mixed night of bravery, passion and breakups. Whilst we’re sure there’s a story inside you, if you just want to come and watch, that’s fine too! If you would like to tell your story, we only ask that you follow these guidelines:
- Stories must be true and must be your own
- Be creative with the words you use, so try not to swear unless it’s a part of the story
- Must be 5 minutes or less
- Stories must pertain to the theme of Courage, Love, and Loss.
As we are doing our best to keep the space socially distant, please purchase your ticket below to confirm you are attending. This will help us keep to our capacity, and keep you socially distant.
To ensure we can run this event as safe as possible, and in line with the Rule of 6, please book your table for your group of 2 to 6 or below, here. Please only book with your household/ people in your support bubble, in line with tier two regulations.
If your group size is unavailable to purchase please email firstname.lastname@example.org as we maybe be able to assist.
What to expect:
The evening will be hosted by one of our fabulous members, Dora Roberts – Comedienne, Quiz Host, and Writer. Everyone willing to share their story will come up on stage and tell their story for 5 minutes. After the stories are told, we will announce the winner of the best story and have a drink together to tell more tales.
If you would like to register to be a storyteller, please shoot us a quick email to email@example.com
Storytellers can attend free of charge.
