Guided meditation to help anxiety: May 13

Why breathing is the most effective positive thinking technique

May 13 @ 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The global pandemic is a challenging time for the entire world and it’s perfectly normal to experience a higher level of emotions, anxiety and disconnection during this time.

Meditation is a powerful tool to help us release the noise in our minds whilst connecting with the awareness of our breath and stillness of our bodies.

Jaz will lead you through some breathwork exercises and a three phase 20 minute guided meditation exploring the areas of letting go of our current thoughts and feelings, reconnecting and inviting gratitude into our practice and using the power of the mind and body to visualise how you want to manifest the rest of your week. We will close the practice with a five minute gentle stretching practice and sharing circle.

Who’s this for?
– Anyone who wants to clear the ‘mental noise’ and feel more centred
– Anyone experiencing anxiety or disconnection and wants to bring greater calmness into our physical and mental energy
– Anyone who wants to deepen their breathing

Register your place and you’ll receive an email with instructions of how to join.

This meditation is free and open to all, no meditation experience neccessary.

What did past participants say?
“What a lovely meditation today, I found it very peaceful and relaxing. Just what we need at this time to help us with the stress and anxiety caused by all that is going on in the world today. I especially found the breath work was amazing at clearing and energising.” – Sharmilla Sokhi

“Thank you Jaz, for helping us to value the key moments in focusing on our peace of mind. Our mindfulness group on Wednesday afternoon gave me, my “me time” that I so needed. Because even though we’re in this lockdown, I’m still on the go within my four walls, and within my mind. So having that calm timeout, lead by you centred my peace. Thank you.” – Suzette Richards-Selano (Kindred Co-working Member)
