Fireside Intention Setting
May 27 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Do you ever feel lacking in purpose? Or perhaps exhausted by being pulled in multiple directions by other people’s needs and desires. Are you exerting excessive energy in multiple directions without channelling it effectively into a clear outcome? Are you concerned by the new business landscape that is ahead of us post-corona and as of yet unsure about how to adapt your offering? Perhaps you just feel a little stuck and unsure of how to shift gear and pick up momentum again.
Some say that “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” but the right intentions set in the right way have the power and potency to transform your life; giving it fresh direction, momentum and vitality. Like any destination, a successful intention must act as an unmovable compass point – otherwise, as you set forth on your journey, your environment will shift and you will lose your bearings and focus. The only true compass point that you have comes from your own magnetic north star.
Join Vaila for an evening to identify and intensify the intensions that and will drive you forward in life.
Using a combination of breathwork, some gentle embodied movement and the wonder of a yoga Nidra meditation you will be taken on a journey to discover your magnetic north: to find your core purpose, articulate your authentic intention and set the neurological pathways to success. Yoga Nidra is an immensely powerful form of guided meditation that is designed to settle the nervous system and bring your brainwaves into a slower more coherent theta state. From here you are able to let the body rest while accessing deep levels of consciousness and insight.
For your practice bring along:
– a generous collection of cushions and blankets (minimum 2 big cushions and two fat blankets or towels)
– a journal and pen
– comfortable clothes that you can move and rest in
– eye mask or scarf
– your favourite fragrance (it could be a perfume or an essential oil: or fruit, a flower or any household item that carries a smell that uplifts you)
– a candle in a large glass container
