Drawing Tutorial w/ Emily Carter: How To Draw a Lion
June 9 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
About this event
After our very popular run of drawing tutorials, award-winning illustrator, designer and Kindred co-working member, Emily Carter is back twice a month via Zoom, to teach us more.
In this class, we’ll be learning how to draw a Lion.
Emily will guide us through the steps that she took to draw a Lion, and together, we’ll try our hand at drawing our very own, with Emily on hand to answer any questions you have along the way.
You will learn:
– How to use different mediums (pen and pencil),
– Techniques for shading and mark-making,
– How to structure a drawing and how to create accurate symmetry.
All levels welcome – some drawing experience preferred, but not essential. Please come prepared with a pen, pencil and eraser plus paper (as thick as possible).
Tickets cost £10.25, book your place below.
Once you have purchased your ticket, we will email you the link to join the session the day before it will run.
What past participants thought:
“I had a great time joining our kindred family and being lead by Emily Carter to sketch. It been years since I allowed myself the space to sit and draw, and it was a joy to be in our virtual group, bringing us together, and me back to drawing. I’m looking forward to seeing you all again this Tuesday.” – Suzette Richards-Selano
